Senior Personal Property Appraiser

Richard Burmood has compiled over 500 appraisals with 25 years in business for major law firms and insurance companies as well as national universities, celebrities, museums, government officials, non-profits and individual collectors.

He has over three decades of fine art experience as curator and owner to some of the finest art galleries in the world. He has studied art extensively with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the Laguna School of Art and Design, in Laguna Beach California. 

Richard Burmood has completed the required appraisal courses from the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), which is one of the main appraisal societies that, in 1987, founded The Appraisal Foundation (TAF). Since 1989, the United States Congress has recognized TAF as the source for the development and promulgation of appraisal standards and qualifications.

 Richard Burmood is USPAP compliant, up to date with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice requirements and Ethics Principles course.

Personal Property Appraiser

Yi Wang has over three years personal property appraisal experience under the guidance of Richard Burmood at Masterpiece Appraisals.

She is from the Liaoning Provence in China.  She speaks fluent Mandarin and helps us translate Chinese text on items such as artwork, ceramics, and various other Chinese exports. 

Yi Wang works exclusively in the Denver Colorado office and has worked on numerous appraisal assignments including, insurance, charitable contributions, and estate appraisals of numerous high profile estates, such as William Coors & Penny Chenery, who once owned the Triple Crown winning race horse Secretariat!

Yi Wang is USPAP compliant, up to date with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice requirements and Ethics Principles course.

Estate Liquidator 

Robbi Sayuri has a fashion industry background, 10 years of online sales experience and extensive second hand market knowledge. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from the Art Institute of Colorado. 

She manages the estate sale, liquidation, and post sale operations with various non-profit partners in the area.  She is a Personal Property Appraiser Apprentice under the guidance of Richard Burmood at Masterpiece Appraisals. Robbi specializes in furniture and apparel.

Personal Property Appraiser 

Sydney Burmood is the newest member of our team with a Graphic Design background, 4 years of freelance/Small Business experience and extensive Art History knowledge. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art with an emphasis in Digital Art, Minor in Business, and Minor in Technical Arts and Media from the University of Colorado Boulder. 

She manages the marketing and design, appraisal reports, and estates.  She is a Personal Property Appraiser Apprentice under the guidance of Richard Burmood at Masterpiece Appraisals. Sydney specializes in art and jewelry.

Personal Property Appraiser

Serving the Arizona, California & Nevada areas, Brittnie Furuvald has a sports sales industry background with experience at Fox Racing and MotorTrend. She earned a Masters in Sports Management from Concordia University in Orange County, California. 

She manages the appraisal reports and estates. She is a Personal Property Appraiser Apprentice under the guidance of Richard Burmood at Masterpiece Appraisals. Brittnie specializes in coins and art.

Brittnie Furuvald is USPAP compliant, up to date with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice requirements and Ethics Principles course.
